Microsoft won a $478 million, six-year contract to provide software to the U.S. Army, the biggest order ever for the company's programs.
The agreement covers 494,000 desktop computers, Microsoft spokesman Keith Hodson said.

but the journalistic-integrity leader... c|net posts this news and doesn't mention the 494,000 desktops, but they DO mention the 14,000 desktops for Linux in Germany.
Let me help with the math...
14k / 494k = 2.83%
Now think about that and then remember how many headlines you read about that big linux "victory".
