Microsoft is close to delivering an update to the latest trial version of its Office software. The software giant is preparing a "technical refresh" for the current beta version of Office 2003, a company representative confirmed Monday. The 600,000 beta testers for Office 2003 were sent letters earlier this month informing them that the revamp would be available in June, and the Microsoft representative confirmed it would be ready by the end of the month. | ||

| I don't know why, I'm testing it and it's pretty darn good as it is right now. Sure there are a few slight problems, but I don't know if they'd release a technical refresh for a few minor things. Heck, I've only found a dozen bugs! |

In the past people have complained that Microsoft released software will holes/bugs. Now that MS is trying harder to improve quality you say that there is no need. What is the rush,? take as long as they need and get it right. Do as many technical refresh as needed. |

| #6, Windows 2000 SP4 will be released very soon. Next few weeks. Windows XP SP2 will probably be here before the end of the year. |

| I have found beta 2 of Outlook 2003 far less buggy than Outlook 2002. |

| I use Outlook with Exchange 2003 and I have seen some problems; still overall I found Beta 2 very stable. |
