uhhh, belto, FX is just the brand name for the current line of Geforces. They call these DetonatorFX because it supports the GeforceFX line of cards (as well as all previous nVidia cards).

This is wonderful!
The primary thing stopping widescale Linux adoption is the lack of WHQL compliant video drivers for Windows.

Does anyone know how to get the "NVrotate" to work? There's hardly any documentation I could find on their site about it (other than the promo material at http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=feature_nvrotate), and it doesn't turn up in their PDF instruction manual. I can't find it in the control panel anywhere, but it says it's included with the drivers.

Thanks, CPUGuy, but I don't see it on mine. I have a GeForce DDR tab, but it only lists adapter, system, and driver version information, as well as an expandable tab that allows for some tweaking of settings. However, I've gone through all of those "Additional Properties" tabs, and I can't find NVRotate anywhere.... Is there something that could be preventing mine from using it?

bluvg: It should be in that expanded panel under it's own name, NVRotate, if it's not there, then there is a possibility that the original GeForces don't support NVRotate.... it's not special really unless you plan on turning your screen to a different angle.

I DO wish they would start listing changes that really apply to the CURRENT version, instead of the same old speach that's been made since the latest det 'family' was released.

Thanks again, CPUGuy... yeah, it's not there. But it does say on the link I posted earlier:
"Supports all NVIDIA GPUs"
and there are many employees here that could benefit from working in portrait mode. :(

I would try completely uninstalling the driver and then re-install it.
