You begin the game with the most basic of weapons, a simple gun, during the game killing enemies means you gain money which can then be spent later on to purchase new weapons and upgrades, Crimson Sea has a lot of depth when it comes to its upgrade system, there are effectors, barrel and generator changes that can be made and weapons can be combined to create the ultimate weapon if you want it to. The more often you use the weapon you pick the more experience you get and the higher your level goes. At the end of your gun you get a blade, the blade on the gun has different stats too and it affects how well you can do melee attacks during the game, I seem to make use of the blade more often than I do my gun. Finally we have what I would class as a special move called Neo-Psionics, this causes damage to enemies that are close by, or can heal teammates, and be used as a shield. Just like your weapons, the Neo-Psionic experience can be raised and levelled up. | ||

| Once again, I will not consider buying any game that is not Xbox live enabled. Why should I spend $50 on a game that once I am finished with it becomes a coaster. I want the possibility of downloadable content as well as playing against humans online. |

You don't have to have Xbox Live enabled games to play live:
1. Connect mutiple Xboxes via Crossover Cable to play multiplayer 2. www.xbconnect.com 3. www.gamespy.com |

stubear, I don't have a toaster nor plan to buy one. But your concerns are appreciated. Brian yes I am aware of the other online services for Xbox. And to be honest I spend a great deal of time on XBC for Halo (Halo is supported on XboxLive). Gamespy sucks and is not intuitive. I was more referring to downloadable content and games that came out after the announcement of XboxLive.

| Are you saying you would not have bought titles like Splinter Cell for the Xbox if they didn't have downloadable content? I guess this just sounds silly to me as I am still more of a single player gamer - but I get more enjoyment out of a single player game than most online games, especially the ones that have come out on Xbox Live! so far. |

| Byron, I do have Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon. And the fact that SC has downloadable content only made my decision to not buy non XBL games a good choice. I am willing to bite the bullet and loose out on some titles with the hopes of getting more for my money. And I wouldn't buy a crappy games just because it is XBL enabled. |
