Windows Server 2003 Editions Compared | |

Sure, Microsoft has its own table comparing the various Windows Server 2003 editions, but that version is incomplete, hard to read, and poorly organized, especially if you're interested in the features that are specific to the 64-bit editions of this product family. So here is my own comparative table, which I think you'll find to be much more readable. | ||

For a small shop I thought that web edition made a lot of sense until I realized.
1. It can't be a domain control 2. No term serv. With that said I am going with standard edition. |

Why ICS? A $20 router can do a much better job.
The way I see it, the web edition is for those who already got other editions of the server and just want setup a deicated web server or server farm. |
