My company currently has 2 compaq TC1000's and they are the coolest things I've ever used. The two people that have them are using them as their primary PC's with the Dock and extra monitor. We have wireless in the office (though it sucks that they don't naitively support 802.11A) and it works perfectly.
Our president has kept hand written notes about his entire workday since the early 80's and now he can search his notes etc. He wouldn't go anywhere with out it.
Truely MS has out done themselves this time and I think that as the market grows for Tablets (which is the only thing we are buying sales people and production managers at this poing) the technology will become even faster (which is the only bad point of tablets) and more compact.
The only real complaint I have about MS's software which runs it is the handwriting recognition uses alot of "spell checking" when translating the handwriting so names are a little hard to get down on "paper" but that is changing quickly and my only complaint will be taken care of.
The only other problem is that left handers like myself and our president have a hard time scrolling. There is a left handed setting; however, with that set the scroll bars are still on the right of everything which makes you look like a freak when scrolling and holding your arm up to see what is on the screen.
Kudos to MS on this Innovation.
