It wouldn't be a shock to learn that DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball sold like hotcakes in America. For one thing, there are only a handful of games coming to Xbox this January and, well, it's filled with hot girls playing the great sport of volleyball. But it's a total shock to find that DOA Volleyball had them lining up for hours in Japan. With an initial shipment of 122,000 copies in Japan, Tecmo's beach babe game sold a reported 73,000 copies in the first day. Impressive numbers for an Xbox game in Japan and possible salvation for a system that has faltered in one of the world's most important market. | ||

| Wow, so like 1 in three Japanese Xbox got this game the first day it came out. Between this and Fanasty Star Online (or whatever that thing is called) and Xbox Live (which is also pretty popular there), it looks like things are getting better. Plus, aren't RPG popular over there? There are a slug of them coming out later this year and early next year. |

| Only funny thing is that it will probably vanish from the Japanese charts next week! |
