Martin Luther King Jr. But for Microsoft and those who follow it closely, Wednesday has another meaning: It will be the first anniversary of a celebrated memo from Bill Gates, in which the company's co-founder, chairman and chief software architect set a new top priority for his 50,000 employees: making computing "trustworthy." | ||

Break down by product: Redhat Advanced Server 2.1 - 40 Linux 6.2 - 46 Linux 7.0 - 63 Linux 7.1 - 71 Linux 7.2 - 84 Linux 7.3 - 53 Linux 8.0 - 16 Secure Web Server 3.x - 4 Stronghold Web Server 3 - 5 Stronghold Web Server 4 - 3 Stronghold Web Server for AS - 4 Microsoft I can't list all of these different products... so I'll go with the main ones Office 2000 - 4 Office 2002 - 4 SQL Server 2000 - 11 SQL Server 7.0 - 6 Windows 2000 - 35 Windows 98 - 9 Windows Me - 12 Windows NT 4 - 11 Windows XP - 29 [These aren't official, I consolidated IIS, IE, MDAC, etc. under which OS they shipped with, but I still have to include XML, Outlook Express and some other products. Isn't it great now to see Redhat in the lead? Why that means they're OS must be the most secure, because they're finding the most security problems. Why even fetchmail had at least 2 problems this year. What a wonderful developer that Eric Raymond must be to have written completely secure software from scratch. |
