At long last for fans of Buffy crossovers, Fox Home Entertainment will release Angel: The Complete First Season on February 11th. This set comes with audio commentaries on select episodes by series creator Joss Whedon and writers David Greenwalt and Jane Espenson, plus four making-of featurettes, stills, and more. Retail is $59.95.
Also announced from Fox is NYPD Blue: The Complete First Season, streeting on March 4th. This six-disc set features all 22 first season episodes presented in 4:3 full screen and Dolby 2.0 surround, with extras including audio commentaries on select episodes (participants TBA) and two making-of featurettes. Retail is $59.95.
Yikes, even more TV on DVD is on the way from HBO Home Video, with the long-awaited debut of Six Feet Under: the Complete First Season. This four-disc set is presented in 4:3 full screen and 2.0 surround, with extras including audio commentary on episodes 1 and 13, a deleted scene, a featurette on the making of the opening sequence, cast and crew interviews, and episode synopses. Retail is $99.95 and street date February 4th.
