Sports Interactive had revealed a release date for the long awaited football management title, Championship Manager 4.
The sequel to the massively successful PC football management simulator will be released in the UK in February 2003, offering more player data, leagues, additional management options and features to offer an unparalleled level of detail, with matches now presented in a brand-new real-time 2D match engine.
"We're delighted to be able to end the months of speculation," said Miles Jacobson, managing director, Sports Interactive. "We would like to make it clear that although we had been hoping for the game to be released this year, we had to make the choice of cutting out a number of features or giving players the best game possible. We chose the latter."
Championship Manager 4 will be published by Eidos Interactive. No US release has been planned.
