Thanks Stewart. In response to industry needs, Microsoft will introduce two new certifications this year. Details about certification requirements and titles will be released during the fourth quarter of 2001. The certifications are expected to be available in early 2002.

| Not to sound too much like a cynic, because I'm usually a Microsoft supporter... Certifications. One more way to make money. Nothing illegal about it, certainly, but I can't help but think this is motivated more by money than by concern over the integrity of professionals who specialize in Microsoft products. Of course, in business, it's always all about money. As for the "certification game", don't play; I have no certifications, but 13 years experience in the computer field. I wouldn't trade any significant amount of experience for an MCSE (but I would for a CCIE! :), and neither would my employers. |
