Microsoft Corp. today announced that Peter Gabriel will make his new album, "Up," available to consumers for digital download beginning today at http://windowsmedia.com/petergabriel/. Before fans purchase the album, they have the opportunity to preview it in its entirety by downloading it from http://windowsmedia.com/petergabriel/, now through Oct. 1. Songs that have been purchased may be transferred to a portable device or burned onto a CD. | ||

| #1 n#2 what is the problem with DRM if it is implemented as they say? Can I transfer songs on a portable device? Can I copy songs to a CD? Reading the Press statement seems that the answer is yes. If this is the case I have no problems with it. Now what I would like to understand is if you will be able to play a burned CD on different players like my car, the player in my bedroom, in my computer etc or not. There is no mention of it in the article but I believe it is a very important point. Again if the answer is yes I have no problem with DRM implemented in this way. |

| Very good question TeckLarry; as I said there are some issues that are still unclear. I will wait for some clarifications about and than I will decide to buy it or not. |
