Apple innovate? Uh, ok. Gee, slow processor, too expensive for the power you get. Oh, wait, firewire is "ok" although USB2 is just as good, if not faster (time trials not done yet)... Ok, that "clearly" makes Apple better! NOT.
#2 - we have an award for them - we've just yet to use one and the chances of us being sent a laptop or a PC/Mac to give the award out looks unlikely - so only some basic hardware and games have got the award so far.
#9 - no we don't currently, but its a good idea I have noted it down.

While I'm not as enthusiastic towards Apple as nomdlev is, they deserve more credit than you give them.
Apple's makes true turn-key systems that work with little fuss. Most of the time :)
I have a G4 LCD iMac sitting right next to my Win2K Servers and XP Client machine, and when the need or mood strikes me, I pick up the Mac Mouse and do stuff.
It's all good.
