| #7, Once installed, does it ask you to Activate? If so, it's the retail version. |

| #8 Sp1 doesn't require to re-activate; of course if you did not activate you OS before you have to do it but the entire process is unrelated to SP1 install. |

| We're talking about a fresh slipstreamed install here, not the patch. A retail slipstream of SP1 will certainly require you to activate, but I think MSDN is Corp. |

| If you have access to MSDN Subscriber downloads due to being a Microsoft certified partner, the CDs in your partner MSDN shipment are volume license. Those that you download, however, are not. |

A few weeks ago there was an talk on some XP websites about 1110. Supposely based on some information from Microsoft.
But 1105.2 was the last build for the development team. The day after (friday august 30) they re-packed that build to 1106 and shiped it to OEMs and put it on their download servers. Maybe there is a 1110 - it can be that it is a specially build for one of the OEMs, the 64-bit version or whatever. But all this is not interesting, since 1106 is the version that works for most of us. Works with Corporate and Retail versions. |

| #14 is correct, it simply never existed. It also makes no sense that it would exist either, so I'm not sure why it became popular to think that it did. Bink's site mentioned 1110 a couple weeks ago when speculating about what the "final final" build was going to be, and it grew from that into an apparent fact. |
