Best Buy will begin selling Apple Computer's iPod later this month, in a move that analysts say could be instrumental in igniting sales of the digital music player. Starting Sept. 15, Best Buy will carry two Windows models and a Mac iPod in more than 500 retail stores, adding to the 35 Apple retail stores and 225 CompUSAs selling the digital music player. The move comes soon after the first Windows-compatible iPods started selling at Apple retail stores, CompUSAs and independent Mac dealers. | ||

From all the latest press, has Apple been invaded by some smart people?
Ongoing work to bring OSX to the PC The IPOD coming to Windows? I honestly can't stand using a Mac, and Steve Jobs makes me cringe, but it appears that with dwindling market share >3.5% Apple has invested in(or more likely discovered by accident [invasion?}) some brillant minds who are trying to make changes to what what Apple does. I like the IPOD and I like some aspects of the OSX platform, now the time is ripe for apple to suprise all of us with real,creative, and innovative uses of their technology in the PC environment(Its where everyone is, and its where the money can be made). Lets just hope that maybe this time round Apple doesn't shoot itself in the foot(like it always has in the past). |

I don't work for Archos, but I just hate to see people wasting their money on this iPod...
