Which mobile operating system should you use--on your laptop, your handheld, your wireless device? You've got more options today than you've had in years. Sometimes the choice is yours (like which PDA OS you choose), while other times it's made for you (like which handset your cellular carrier offers). I've been pondering these options a lot lately and believe I've come up with some answers. Here they are, by category. Anchordesk so unbelievably shitty now... well, not that it wasn't crap before, but I think they're striving for a new low!
Regarding Palm vs. PocketPC, I don't even consider the two to be in the same class. PocketPC has always, and will always, be able to do things that Palm cannot. And with the release of the .net compact framework, Palm has a tough battle ahead of them... |
