Few companies in recent history, with the exception of spectacular flameouts like Enron, have inspired the kind of loathing that Microsoft has in its climb to the top. The Redmond, Washington-based software giant has been the target of late-night comedians' barbs as well as anti-Microsoft Web sites. Can a company that has been so widely reviled work its way toward indifference, much less love? Some analysts say Microsoft is already on the right road. | ||

I agree with #7 (how's that for lazy :) ).
Microsoft has shown NO effort to improve their standing with me. In fact, it's worse than it ever was. Just the mention of the word "Palladium" gives me the shivers. And that's just one small tidbit in the overall Microsoft Scheme. I do not hate Microsoft Products. Hell, I use almost everyone of them, software AND hardware. I think the MacOS X version of the TS/RDC client is not only cool, but extremely brave on their part. But from a corporate citizen standpoint these people are completely out of control. TL |
