THQ® Inc. today announced the release of "Tetris Worlds(TM)" for Xbox and GameCube, the next generation of Tetris® -- one of the most popular video game franchises ever created. "Tetris Worlds" features all of the addictive block-dropping mayhem Tetris is known for, along with six variations of gameplay that take place in six unique worlds. "Tetris Worlds" for Xbox and GameCube is now available at retail outlets nationwide, along with a PlayStation 2 version shipped earlier this year.

Developed by Radical Entertainment, "Tetris Worlds" also features multiplayer capabilities allowing up to four Tetris fans to compete directly against one another to see who can clear levels the fastest.
