Fifteen years ago, Microsoft introduced automatic updating to the unwashed Windows masses. Fifteen years later, its hard to find a Windows user who hasnt bumped into at least one problem with a Windows update or knows someone who has. Thats a billion and a half people. From inscrutable driver problems to bricked machines and everywhere in between, Automatic Update is a poster child in whats wrong with Windows circles -- rightfully so. | ||
