The cloud file sharing space is a fascinating one, but while primarily consumer-centric offerings like Dropbox have got good momentum, it’s fair to say that the enterprise cloud sharing space is still somewhat nascent. Some news from Microsoft MSFT +1.67% today however suggests that maturity, and adoption, is coming quickly. Microsoft’s OneDrive for Business product (previously called SkyDrive Pro) is being unbundled from the other Microsoft services and is being sold to businesses as a standalone product – putting it head to head with Drobox’s business offering as well as a plethora of products including Box Egnyte, Intralinks and Oxygen Cloud. | ||
