BlackBerry Ltd. confirmed, Monday, that it was exploring an outright sale of the company. Once an industry giant, BlackBerry has failed to combat a growing employee preference for consumer-friendly devices running Apple Inc.s iOS or Google Inc.s Android. Some CIOs say those companies responsible for the Canadians phone makers fall could end up saving it. Others say no acquisition can save the company from irrelevance. | ||
