Microsoft Starts Pushing Windows 7 SP1 as Automatic Update | |

Microsoft today started rolling out Windows 7service pack 1 (SP1) as an automatic update. Though SP1 was first released in 2011, it has thus far required users to manually install it via Windows Update. As of March 19, "the installation will be fully automatic with no user action required for those who already have Automatic Update enabled," Microsoft said in a blog post. "SP1 will be released gradually over the coming weeks to all customers on the RTM version of Windows 7." | ||
