Microsoft Xbox 360 Best Selling Video Game Console in US 6th Consecutive Month | |

If you stop and listen, you may just hear the soft echo of the resounding applause taking place all over the world for Microsofts Xbox 360 brand that has ranked as the number one selling video game system for the last six months consecutively, beating out the popular Sony PS3 and the Nintendo Wii. 1.37 million consoles were sold in November, with much credit being given to the release of the hot Xbox 360 Kinect motion sensor add on. Kinect related purchases were responsible for 77% of total Microsoft sales in November, providing a tremendous boost for their year end numbers, and sales for the Kinect are expected to reach 5 million units through the holidays. The sales related to Sonys new Move motion control add on made up 22% of their November sales. | ||
