With no home-grown CRM products yet on the market, Microsoft appears to be lagging behind the pack. Can the software heavyweight catch up and achieve a leadership position in the CRM arena? The experts think so. Two of the main issues ahead for the Redmond giant will be whether it can leverage its acquisition of Great Plains and its introduction of the .NET architecture to gain a CRM advantage. "They've made these announcements and will not come out with applications until September," Aberdeen research director Karen Smith told CRMDaily.com. "We'll learn a lot from the execution." | ||
