Microsoft's next-generation operating system for handheld devices, codenamed Talisker, is scheduled for release to beta testers today. Talisker -- or Windows CE 4.0, if you will -- is what Microsoft is riding on to keep increasing their market share in the handheld space, and from what we know it'll kick some serious ass - pardon our French. Microsoft's next-generation operating system for all kinds of handheld devices is currently codenamed Talisker, and Microsoft has gone to great lengths to let processor manufacturers ensure themselves that their processors are compatible with the new OS, which is being released to beta testers today. | ||
