X-Boxed have posted a review of the excellent game Halo. They gave it a final score of 9/10. Here is part of the review:

With the game having been built up so well I was itching to get started. You have been woken up from a cryo tube to help with the battle. When you first gain control of your character, you are taken through a very brief run down of the controls and your armour systems. At this point I was struggling with the controls a little and couldn`t help thinking "I wish I had a mouse and keyboard combo instead of the controller." bearing in mind that nearly every first person shooter I have played has been on a PC - however, the controls soon become second nature. The left stick controls your movement forwards, backwards, sidestep left and right and press down on the stick to duck. The right stick allows you to look around and turn. The controls for me as a PC gamer were tricky at first, but I soon got used to the fact that you can only turn around at one slow speed and that aiming using control pad is way more difficult than using a mouse despite the analog nature of the controller.
