Microsoft has just posted this regarding those who have just bought or are planning to buy Office 2000 before the Office XP release. "Get Office 2000 between April 2, 2001, and June 30, 2001, and you might be eligible for a free* upgrade to Office XP through the Office XP Technology Guarantee for retail customers." "Requests must be postmarked no later than June 30, 2001. You can expect delivery of your copy of Office XP approximately four to six weeks after your request is received." "You can choose a more full-featured Office XP suite than the Office 2000 suite you acquiredjust pay the difference when you submit your request. For example, if you order a copy of Office 2000 Standard, you can upgrade to Office XP Professional by paying the $90 difference." | ||
