An interactive television company executive testifying against Microsoft Corp. offered to tone down his criticism of the software giant last year while trying to close a key business deal with the company, according to e-mails cited in court on Tuesday. Only days after offering to buy out Microsoft's interactive television software business, Liberate Technologies Chief Executive Officer Mitchell Kertzman offered to tell journalists that he no longer supported a break-up of Microsoft for antitrust violations. | ||
