E3 2007: Army of Two Hands-on | |

It's been more than a year since we last saw EA Montr¿al's co-op shooter, Army of Two. As some of you may or may not know, the game was actually one of Electronic Arts' "big surprises" at E3 2006, as it was tucked away in a small, dark room (with killer air conditioning) that could only be accessed by invitation. This year, however, Army of Two has a much more overt presence as one of several actioners that the publisher is trying to promote. The good news is that the 14-month difference in maturation has served the gameplay well. Whereas before, the mechanical specificities were still unclear, now they're obvious. You see, Army of Two is all about "Aggro" and how your two-person team applies it. For the unfamiliar, aggro is a term that's typically used to describe the act of drawing anger from an attacking enemy in MMOs. That same concept applies here too, only now you're up against machineguns instead of Orcs. | ||
