Gamespy have posted a preview of the upcoming game from Eidos. Here is a snippet of the preview: The opening chapter of the game has players learning to control Kain as they make their way through the slums and other seedy portions of Meridian. For players new to the world of Kain it might be a little shocking to actually kill pretty much anyone who crosses your path and then suck them dry, but as you will be playing a fairly powerful vampire with a mighty thirst you should expect to have to feed quite often. From the playable preview the plot points that are revealed thus far revolve around Kain getting his strength back while he is instructed by Umah, a pleasant, yet remarkably well-endowed undead woman vampire and a powerful member of the Cabal. The game's first chapter, which is essentially a tutorial, will help you master the controls while also getting you up to speed on the events including the ongoing blood feud between the Cabal and the vampire-hunting Sarafan.
