HP MediaSmart Server hands-on | |

It's been a while since we last heard any news about the HP MediaSmart Server, but it was quite nice to finally get acquainted with the thing in person. (The last time we played with it, we didn't really get to play with it.) As with so many devices, it's hard to express how small it is (at in comparison to how large we expected it to be), but it was still a pre-production sample -- so the drive sleds didn't come out, nor did the plastics all stay fastened properly. Still, here's yet another we're machine forward to checking out when it's released later this year. (For those that want to check out Windows Home Server now, get in on the beta.) | ||
