Like many people my age, I first discovered the joys of driving fast and furiously in the local arcade. Armed with my weekly allowance and the power of "dibs," I was able to stay in the virtual driver's seat virtually all day. Or until my change ran out, anyway. Ironically, I didn't seriously pursue a driver's license until I was close to graduating… from university. My roommate bravely volunteered to play Obi-Wan in my own personal Car Wars. I thought the first lesson went extremely well, thanks to my vast arcade experience. My roommate apparently disagreed, as she showed up for Lesson Number Two with a hand-painted shirt declaring, "Danger Donna School of Driving: Instructor." | ||
