Two mail-in offers conducted by Panasonic/Technics are hitting store shelves this month to promote the purchase of home, portable and car DVD-Audio players. The promotion runs from November 7 until January 31, 2001.

The first promotion offers a $75 rebate with the purchase of a Panasonic DVD-A7 or $100 with purchase of a Technics DVD-A10 DVD-Audio/Video player. As a bonus, consumers will receive an additional $50 rebate if they buy a Technics SA-DA8K, SA-DA8N or SA-DA10N DVD-Audio Ready receiver on the same date as they purchase a Panasonic or Technics DVD-Audio player.

The second promotion offers free DVD-Audio recordings with the purchase of a Technics or Panasonic DVD-Audio/Video player, Panasonic portable DVD-Audio player, Panasonic micro-system with DVD-Audio or Panasonic car DVD-Audio player/receiver. The customer chooses two or three DVD-Audio recordings (depending on product purchased) from a selection of albums including Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Natalie Merchant, Big Phat Band, Aaron Neville, Willie Nelson, Bobby Short and Daniel Barenboim Beethoven.
