Microsoft seals news government licensing deal | |

Thanks Stefan. Microsoft has signed a memorandum of understanding for new licensing terms with central and local government IT purchasers. The deal will lower the cost for as many as 1.7 million desktops in government across the UK. It follows protracted negotiations after Microsoft upset many users by trying to move them to a rental model for their software licences. | ||
