Microsoft Corp. today announced it has licensed an industry-proven resource management tool to be offered with the Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Datacenter Server product line, representing its continued investment in the Windows Datacenter Program. Active Resource Management Technology (ARMTech) for the Windows operating system will assist enterprise customers in managing mission- and business-critical workloads, enabling maximum server productivity and lowering total cost of ownership (TCO). ARMTech for Windows is an active resource management tool that helps allocate, control and monitor Windows operating system resource use. ARMTech for Windows will be available at no additional charge to Windows 2000 Datacenter Server customers and can be obtained directly from Microsoft or through authorized Windows Datacenter Partners. | ||
