Microsoft has unveiled its Dynamics AX 4.0 enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite. The suite is available as of today in the US and Canada. Other countries are set to follow later this year and early next year. The application is the first to offer support for Chinese and Japanese characters, allowing Microsoft to enter those markets. It will also be the first version to offer support for Oracle's 10g database in addition to Microsoft's SQL Server. The previous version supported Oracle 9i. | ||
