One of the features Windows Media Player 11 offers specifically to Windows Vista users is the ability to share your Music Library to devices on your Network. Today, I was able to test out this feature. First off, make sure your system's Network is configured for "Private". If its configured for "Public" - you cannot share your Music Library due to security restrictions. In Windows Media Player, right-click on "Library" and go down to "Library Sharing". There, you will see devices show up from your Network that is capable of viewing your shared Music Library. In my case, my Toshiba M400 is the device I want to share with so I must "Allow" it access. | ||
