A few months back, Microsoft officials said to expect Version 1.0 of "Mendocino" – a product linking Microsoft Office to SAP back-end processes on the back end – by July 2006. It sounds like Mendocino is running a bit ahead of schedule, with Microsoft and SAP finishing off the code late last week. Microsoft and SAP are set to make some kind of official Mendocino announcement on May 2. | ||
