Samsung Announces Strategic DDR SDRAM Supply Agreement for Xbox | |

Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. today announced a strategic supply agreement with Microsoft Corp under which Samsung will continue to play a significant role in supplying DDR SDRAM memory used in the Xbox(tm) video game system. The agreement highlights Samsung's strength as the leader in the semiconductor memory arena and as a key member of the impressive team of technology suppliers supporting Xbox. By working with Samsung, Microsoft will have access to the most advanced DDR SDRAM memory technology available from a company with a proven record of producing high-volume components on time. ``Samsung prides itself on its ability to deliver advanced technology products ahead of the competition,'' said Tom Quinn, Vice President Marketing, Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. ``Gamers will continue to be the real winners as they are getting incredible performance from this extraordinarily powerful video game system.'' | ||
