"For us at Microsoft this last year has been particularly interesting because we have been fortunate to be on the best new product cycle in the history of the company. So in spite of some of the challenging industry and economic times we’ve faced, we have been very, very focused on our product direction, focused on the strategy that we introduced in Forum 2000 in the summer of 2000 around .NET and around all the products that surround .NET. We’ve been focused on new products and that has come at a very important time for the industry and for Microsoft, and I believe that as we look to the future that we really are at what Bill Gates talks about as the beginning of the digital decade. We are at a very, very opportune time, with tremendous amount of opportunity, and we’re very bullish and excited about the future." | ||
