Xbox 360 backwards compatibility lacking in Japan | |

Gamers in Japan that are planning to throw away their current Xbox console when they pick up an Xbox 360 this winter might want to rethink binning the black box. Microsoft Japan has released the list of Xbox games confirmed to be playable on the Xbox 360 in the country, and it's not looking good for Japanese gamers with a soft spot for current-generation games. While the US list of Xbox games playable on the Xbox 360 has more than 200 titles, the Japanese list only carries 12 games. Microsoft Japan notes that additional titles will be added to the list in the future, so it might be a matter of time before the remaining games from the American list appears. | ||
