Before we say anything, know that at this point we haven't been able to get the new content needed to run Halo 2 with FSAA (Full Screen Anti-Aliasing), so we'll be sure to run an update once we're got all our software in order. For now, however, we'll tell you how Halo 2 looks on our Xbox 360 retail unit without the special software. While running under such circumstances, Halo 2 does not look all that much better on an Xbox 360 at 720p. We recently tried out a copy of Halo 2 on an Optoma H78DC3, a 720p native projector and noticed little difference from the Xbox version which we ran at normal resolution on the same screen. And yes, before everyone starts going nuts, we did remember to flip the switch on the X360 component cables to the HD setting. | ||
