Holy crap, this is gonna be huge guys and gals. First of all this is the seventh Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game, and that’s not including Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2X. Every year Neversoft and Activision come out with a new version of the game and while most years only a few new tricks and extras are added, sometimes they decide to give the whole game an overhaul, like they did when the name was changed to Tony Hawk Underground. And with the new name on this title, let me reassure you, we are kicking it up a notch here. First of all we’re gonna get most of our old flips, grabs, and grinds, plus previous enhancements like manuals and spine transfers, and the Story Mode is being taken to the next level. In Tony Hawk’s Underground you live the life of your Pro Skater (sort of) as you travel around to different locations. Now in American Wasteland you get to live the life in one huge city, Los Angeles. Using the type of design we’ve seen in GTA San Andreas, you’ll be able to skate from Beverly Hills to East L.A. and stop to get your hair cut on the way, grab a new design for your deck, and maybe even earn a few skill points, all without leaving the story and all without load times BABY!!
