Joust: Xbox 360 killer app? | |

Everyone is expecting a game like Perfect Dark Zero to drive sales of the Xbox 360 -- but what about Joust? OK, not really, but one moment during the Xbox 360 preview event in San Francisco Tuesday proved that the old arcade classic still has mass appeal. It's one of the casual games that will be offered through the Xbox Live Arcade online system. During one session yesterday, people were given the choice of sampling any of the games on that system, and almost everyone in the room chose Joust. It was a slightly bizarre scene, with everyone sitting there using a high-powered, next-generation console to play a game that once required plunking a quarter into a machine. | ||
