Thanks to Leonard Chung, Program Manager - Monad: Microsoft Command Shell, for the following information about upcoming Monad events:
As you know, in response to the overwhelming community voice we've heard,
the Monad team has been working hard to make Monad broadly available as we
move closer to the end of our beta cycle. Your word of mouth support has paid off. Thanks to your help, the Monad
community has grown by leaps and bounds. What started as a small,
invite-only beta program has grown beyond our wildest expectations! We've
reached a critical mass now with many tens of thousands of people who have
had a chance to download and play with the Monad shell. It's time now to
take things to the next level by spreading the message to the world about
Monad and the power and value it provides. In the next few months, we've got many exciting big events for you. As a
taste: As part of this transition, the Monad Betaplace presence will be frozen and
eventually shutdown. Until "Monad" receives an official product name to replace its current codename, the microsoft.public.windows.server.scripting newsgroup will be the place for "Monad" technical discussion. Click the headline to access the group via the Microsoft Communities web portal. | ||
