The Anti-Spam Technical Alliance (ASTA) is a collaborative effort between six leading Mailbox Providers and the Internet community to establish technical and nontechnical solutions for handling unwanted and unsolicited e-mail (spam). ASTA founding members include Microsoft, AOL, British Telecom, Comcast, EarthLink, and Yahoo! This Statement of Intent (SOI) document presents best practices and technologies that ASTA members are implementing to help secure the e-mail infrastructure and bring increased accountability. | ||
