  Pinnacle Releases DV500/DV500+ 3.0 Beta 3 Drivers

Pinnacle has just released new drivers 3.0 Beta 3 for the Pinnacle Systems DV500/DV500 Plus boards. These new drivers brought the following bug fixes/enhancements along with full support of Windows 2000 & Windows XP:

  • DVTools 2.1 with:
  • Capture from 1394 or analog sources
  • Cutlist playback to 1394 or analog
  • No 2GB boundary
  • Premiere Storyboard export
  • New UI for RT effects / filters with:
  • Keyframe support
  • Presets
  • Preset Manager for exporting/importings effect presets
  • Variable play speeds
  • DV Codec improvements ( extended color space)
  • Direct import of .MP2 files into Premiere
  • Improved 16:9 support
  • Audio- resampling during capture from DV devices
  • Improved support of DV devices
  • Bug fixes for:
  • Color shift problem on cross dissolves "green cast"
  • DV Codec; extended color space support
  • MPEG-2 Export; DVDit can now work properly
  • 4GB Export to AVI /MP2
  • Canon XL-1 A/V sync problem on capture
