Microsoft founder's grant will help Iowa libraries | |

Iowa Iowans will get help connecting the state's 543 public libraries with a grant from software guru Bill Gates. The 749-thousand-dollar Staying Connected grant was awarded this month by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. That's according to State Librarian Mary Wegner who says the grant from the Microsoft founder will expand public access to computers. | ||
