Wireless LAN switch vendor Airespace Inc. is working with Microsoft's Network Access Protection technologies in a drive to enhance enterprise security. Network Access Protection is a policy-enforcement technology to be built into Microsoft's next-generation Windows operating system, codenamed "Longhorn." When combined with Airespace's own WLAN switch technology, called Wireless Protection System (WPS), the partners will cover everything from authentication and encryption to client integrity checking and application-based network control. | ||
