SMS Web Reporting is a Web-based tool that you can use to view your SMS site hierarchy information, including hardware and software inventory, client assignment, and site status. SMS Web Reporting is a stand-alone tool that uses SQL Server as its query engine. This makes the tool a fast and efficient method of running reports. The SMS Web Reporting tool queries the SMS site database and retrieves the appropriate data for the selected report.
